R' Yonatan Attias grew up in Jerusalem. After graduating from Yeshivat Nehardea high school, he went on to study at Yeshivat Siach Yedidya in Petach Tikvah. After completing his army service, he spent two years studying at Rabbi Berry Klein's Chabura in Jerusalem. He teaches a weekly class at Yeshivat Simchat Shlomo and occasionally at Yeshivat Lev Yisrael, and frequently contributes to local and online events. Yonatan and his wife Keren, are excited to join the Shirat David community!
R' Shimon Hermon grew up in Miami, Florida. He studied Acting and Directing at the New World Conservatory in South Florida and Journalism at Fordham University Lincoln Center in New York before moving to Israel and becoming חוזר בתשובה at Yeshivat Aish HaTorah, where he studied for three years. He has since been involved in education and Kiruv, both in his own home and with organizations like Forum for Jewish Leadership. Shimon, his wife Batsheva, and daughter Emunah Rachel are excited to join the Shirat David community!
Rabbi Noam grew up in Toronto. After high school, he spent two years in Israel learning at Yeshivat Kerem B’Yavne (KBY). He then moved to the States and completed a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology at Yeshiva University. Upon completing college studies, Rabbi Noam returned to KBY as a member of their Kollel where he received Semicha from the Israeli Rabbinate. Rabbi Noam and his wife Adeena and 3 sons, are excited to join the Shirat David community!
Rabbi Isaac grew up in Monsey, NY. After high school, he studied at Yeshivat Hakotel. He then received his BA in Mathematics and Judaic Studies from Yeshiva College and his Semicha from Rabbi Isaac Elchanan Rabbinical Seminary. In addition, he holds a Teacher's certificate from Herzog College, taught at Orot Etzion in Neve Daniel, and serves as the editorial assistant at TRADITION:: A Journal of Orthodox Jewish Thought. Isaac, his wife Shira, and their son, Yehuda, are excited to join the Shirat David community!
R' Yaakov Greenberg grew up in the West Roger’s Park neighborhood in Chicago, IL. After High School, he studied at Yeshivat Har Etzion for two years and then drafted to the IDF through the Yeshiva’s Hesder program. Yaakov served in the Rabbanut as the Coordinator of רכזי מו״ר, where he assisted in the religious atmospheres of over 80 bases. Since returning from the army, Yaakov has been learning and teaching at Yeshivat Har Etzion and finishing a degree in Education at Herzog College. Yaakov and his wife Alyssa, are excited to join the Shirat David community!
R' Ben grew up in Los Angeles, CA. Ben studied at the Shappell's Darche Noam Yeshiva and the Pardes Institute of Jewish Studies. He holds a bachelor's degree in Sociology from Columbia University and a second bachelor's degree in Jewish History from The Jewish Theological Seminary of America. Ben is a member of Ohr Torah Stones' Straus Rabbinical Seminary at Yeshivat Machanaim in Migdal Oz. Ben will be joining us after finishing his term as a Rabbi in residence at the Abrahamic Family Houses' Moses Ben Maimon Synagogue in Abu Dhabi. Ben and his wife Yael, are excited to join the Shirat David community!
